SATURDAY 8th December 3.00pm “Light in the Darkness” – an Advent Quiet Afternoon at St Peter’s. Till 5.30pm. An opportunity for a moment of quiet reflection in a busy lead up to Christmas.
TUESDAY 11th December 7.00pm Carol Singing at Harper Parade with the Salvation Army Band followed by refreshments at All Saints’. Arranged by the Baptist Tabernacle congregation.
SATURDAY 15th December 10.00am Messy Church with a Christmas theme at St. Peter's. Come and make a seasonal craft.
SUNDAY 23rd December 10.00am Eucharist and Nativity Play at St. Peter's. We think about the Birth of Jesus with our Nativity Play in this service for all ages.
6.00pm Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols at St. Peter’s.
CHRISTMAS EVE 24th December 4.00pm Family Service with Puppets at St. Peter’s. Join us this year to sing traditional carols, watch the puppets act out the Nativity and take part in our procession to visit the Crib. This service lasts around 30 minutes.
6.30pm Family Carol Service at All Saints’. Please come early as this is a popular service!
11.30pm Midnight Mass at St. Peter’s.
CHRISTMAS DAY 25th December 9.00am Eucharist using the Book of Common Prayer at Elton Church.
10.00am Eucharist at St. Peter’s.
The cash collection at the Carol Service at St. Peter’s on Sunday 23rd December and at the services at All Saints and St. Peter’s on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, will be shared equally between four Children’s Charities – Save the Children, Durham Family Welfare, The Children’s Society, NSPCC.

Bach’s great ‘Ascension Cantata’ will feature with two other cantatas and Handel’s Coronation Anthem, ‘The King shall rejoice Our choir joined as previously with Tees Valley Youth Choir and a 20-piece orchestra.Tickets £10 (free for children of school age).
